The Exhibition „Die Idee der Landschaft“ gives an overview of different aspects of modern landscape photography. The shown landscapes are not objective views, it is the visualization of the artists‘ ideas and involves the human experience in the landscape.
The exhibition shows works of the artists of the collection and new acquisitions of David Armstrong, Olivo Barbieri, Lothar Baumgarten, Caroline Dlugos, Elger Esser, Luigi Ghirri, Rodney Graham, Gütschow, Dan Holdsworth, Andrej Krementschouk, Andreas Mühe, Nieweg, Detlef Orlopp, Jorma Puranen, Heinrich Riebesehl, Adrian Sauer, Stephan Schenk and Anna Vogel.
