Fred Hüning’s drei (three) is a homage to the family, love and togetherness. This touching book is one part of a trilogy of very personal and deep emotional work.
Until May 16th 2015, the works from his book One Circle can be seen in his exhibition at Bildband Berlin.
If you are in Berlin these days you have the chance to visit the group exhibition „Lob der Wildnis | Serial Landscapes“ at Kehrer Berlin Galerie featuring works by Henning Rogge, Arno Schidlowski and Anne Schwalbe. All these artists attracted my attention during the last year because of their beautiful pieces of work and one aspect is common to all: the subtle and even restrained approach through the realisation process of their works which I particularly like.
Henning Rogge’s photographs of craters left from bombs during the second world war all around Germany shows his exploration of the themes of war, memories and everyday life.
Only at second glance I recognized the the genius and the beauty of Arno Schidlowski’s work; you should definitely stop at Kehrer Berlin because his work should be seen as prints!
Anne Schwalbe creates her personal views of seemingly simple and everyday things and her series „Wiese“ (Meadow) reduces these views on nature to the essential – to textures of meadows.
